A doctor who kept reading the charts
Five years at Fazaia Medical College gave me anatomy, diagnostics, procedures and patient care. What stayed with me was not only the medicine. It was how much of a hospital's day is spent moving information.
Pakistan's health system does not lack clinical skill. It lacks the digital spine that lets that skill scale.
Healthcare informatics sits exactly on that line — clinical decision support, health data governance, records architecture, and the management practice to get them deployed.
I am not leaving medicine. I am taking it into the systems layer.

The training is a route, not a destination. The problem I want to solve is in Pakistan, and the skill is only worth something where the gap actually is.
